The terms that govern how this site may be used.

Plain terms for a technical audience: what the site provides, what you may do with our documentation, what our planning tools do and do not claim, and where the limits of this website end and a signed agreement begins.

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of qualifiedcontrols.com and its subdomains, tools, and client portal. By accessing or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

These terms apply to every visitor — anonymous browsers, form submitters, documentation readers, and authenticated portal users alike. Where a signed agreement exists between you and Qualified Controls for products, services, or monitoring work, that agreement governs the services; these terms govern the website.

02

What this site provides

The site is an informational and self-service resource. It offers:

  • Informational content — positioning, industry context, and guidance on regulated environmental monitoring.
  • A technical documentation library — product specifications, datasheets, user guides, and application notes.
  • Interactive tools — the ROI Calculator and the REM Risk Assessment.
  • A blog — commentary on compliance, validation practice, and monitoring architecture.
  • A client portal — account access for existing customers.

Nothing on the site is an offer, a quotation, or a commitment to supply. Content is provided for evaluation and reference. Availability, features, and pricing are confirmed only in a written proposal or executed agreement.

03

Intellectual property

All content on this site — written copy, specification sheets, guides, diagrams, photography, tool logic, page design, and source code — is owned by Qualified Controls or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property law. The Qualified Controls name, logo, and product names, including LoRa® SPY, Nano SPY, and MySirius, are our marks.

What you may do. View, download, and print materials for your own personal use or the internal business use of your organization — including sharing a specification sheet with colleagues, attaching documentation to an internal validation file, or circulating a guide within your quality team.

What you may not do. Republish, redistribute publicly, resell, mirror, or incorporate our content into another product or commercial offering; remove or alter attribution, version numbers, or document control markings; or use our marks in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.

Requests to use content beyond internal business use go to Sales@qualifiedcontrols.com.

04

Acceptable use

Use the site the way it was built to be used. The following are prohibited:

  • Automated extraction — scraping, crawling beyond standard search-engine indexing, bulk downloading, or harvesting content, documents, or contact details.
  • Form misuse — submitting false information, spam, automated submissions, or using contact and scheduling forms for solicitation.
  • Security interference — attempting to breach, probe, or bypass authentication on the client portal or any other part of the site; testing for vulnerabilities without written authorization; introducing malware; or interfering with availability.
  • Misrepresentation — impersonating another person or organization, or accessing an account you are not authorized to use.
  • Unlawful use — any use that violates applicable law or infringes another party's rights.

We may restrict or terminate access to the site or the portal at any time if use falls outside these limits. If you discover a security vulnerability, report it to Support@QualifiedControls.com rather than exploiting it.

05

Interactive tools disclaimer

The ROI Calculator and the REM Risk Assessment are planning instruments. They apply general models to the inputs you provide and return a directional result.

Tool outputs are estimates for planning purposes. They are not compliance advice, not a regulatory determination, and not a guarantee of any audit, inspection, or financial outcome.

Results depend entirely on the accuracy and completeness of what you enter, and they do not account for the specifics of your facility, your quality system, your validated processes, or the interpretation of your regulators. A favorable Risk Assessment score does not establish compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, GMP, HACCP, GxP, or any other standard. An unfavorable score does not establish non-compliance.

Treat tool output as an input to your own assessment — not a substitute for it. Compliance decisions belong to your quality and regulatory functions, supported where appropriate by qualified counsel or a validation professional. To review results with our engineering team, use the contact page.

06

Technical documentation

Specification sheets, user guides, and technical notes published on this site describe products as configured at the time of publication. Specifications are subject to change without notice. Hardware revisions, firmware updates, and manufacturing changes can alter performance characteristics, part numbers, and accessory compatibility.

Website documentation is provided for reference and evaluation. It is not a controlled document.

  • Before validation use — verify every specification against the current controlled document issued for your system by Qualified Controls.
  • Before procurement — confirm part numbers and configuration in a written quotation.
  • Before referencing in an IQ/OQ/PQ package — request the revision-controlled version and record its document number and revision.

Controlled documentation is available on request through Support@QualifiedControls.com.

07

Client portal terms

The client portal is provided to existing customers as part of an active commercial relationship. Access is granted to named, authorized users only.

  • Credentials are individual. Do not share, transfer, or publish them. You are responsible for activity conducted under your credentials.
  • Authorized users only. Your organization is responsible for keeping its user list current and for notifying us promptly when an authorized user leaves or changes role.
  • Report compromise immediately. Suspected credential compromise or unauthorized access goes to Support@QualifiedControls.com without delay.
  • Access may be suspended where required for security, or where the underlying commercial relationship ends.

No service levels are created by this website. Uptime commitments, response times, escalation paths, data retention, and support obligations for monitoring services are defined exclusively in your written agreement with Qualified Controls. Nothing on this site — including portal availability — modifies, extends, or implies those commitments.

08

09

Warranty & limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qualified Controls disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that content, documentation, or tool output will be accurate, current, or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qualified Controls and its officers, employees, and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, product loss, regulatory findings, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — this site, its documentation, or its interactive tools. Our total aggregate liability arising from the website is limited to one hundred US dollars (US $100).

This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and it does not affect the warranties, remedies, or liability terms in a signed agreement for products or services, which stand on their own.
